PROFILE
Seiya Imoto received the BS, MS, and PhD degrees in mathematics from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1996, 1998, and 2001, respectively. He joined the Institute of Medical Science, the University of Tokyo in 2001. He is currently director and professor of Health Intelligence Center, the Institute of Medical Science, the University of Tokyo. He is also served as an advisor (medical statistics) of Ministry of Health in 2016 and an advisor of the President of the University of Tokyo in 2019, Labor and Welfare. His current research interests cover statistical analysis of high-dimensional data by Bayesian approach, biomedical information analysis, next generation sequence data analysis, immuno-genomics, artificial intelligence and meta-genome data analysis.
