PROFILE
Uday B. Desai received the B.Tech. degree from IIT Kanpur, India, , the M.S. degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo, and the Ph.D. degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
He was the Founding Director of IIT Hyderabad. He is (i) Chancellor for Anurag University, Hyderabad, (ii) Chancellor of ICFAI University Dehradun., and (iii) Honorary Distinguished Professor at Plaksha University.
His research interests are in cyber physical systems and AI.
He received the Outstanding Alumni Award from University of Buffalo and the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kanpur.
