KIM Hyoun Jin

Hyoun Jin Kim is a Professor in Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University. She received BS from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and MSc and PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, all in Mechanical Engineering. Her research is on intelligent control, navigation and planning of autonomous systems such as ground robots, vehicles, and flying robots. She has served on Editorial Boards for journals and conferences including Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transactions on Robotics and IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), and her work has been recognized by awards including ICRA Best Paper Award on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. She is a member of National Academy of Engineering of Korea.
