IWAI Mutsuo

IWAI Mutsuo joined Japan Tobacco and Salt Public Corporation (now Japan Tobacco Inc.) in 1983 and advanced through leadership roles in food and corporate strategy. He was appointed Executive Vice President of JT International S.A. in 2011. He became Executive Vice President in 2016, Deputy Chairperson of the Board in 2020, and Chairperson in 2022 (current). He serves as Acting Chairperson of KEIZAI DOYUKAI（Japan Association of Corporate Executives）among other key positions such as Outside Director of TDK and Advisor to NTT Data.DOYUKAI（Japan Association of Corporate Executives）among other key positions such as Outside Director of TDK and Advisor to NTT Data.
