HanJoo Lee is a serial IT entrepreneur and investor in the global technology and startup ecosystem. He is the co-founder and chairman of Newberry Global, a holding company that oversees Bespin Global and OpsNow—two leading companies in cloud, AI, and IT operations automation solutions. Newberry Global helps customers accelerate AI adoption through its managed services, AI infrastructure, and agentic platform, enabling enterprises to build and operate next-generation digital systems with speed and intelligence. HanJoo founded Newberry Global in 2015, launching first in China and Korea before expanding to the United States, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. With more than 1,400 employees and around 4,000 enterprise customers worldwide, its subsidiary Bespin Global has become one of the most recognized multi-cloud and AI managed service providers. Its proprietary solutions—HelpNow, an enterprise AI agent platform, and OpsNow, an AI-driven IT operations automation platform—enable enterprises to achieve self-driving IT operations at scale. In 2012, HanJoo co-founded SparkLabs, a global accelerator and venture capital firm that has invested in over 600 startups, where he currently serves as general partner, guiding its portfolio and global expansion. In 2006, he co-founded Affinity Media in India, a pioneer in online and mobile advertising, where he now serves as vice chairman. In 1998, he co-founded Hostway in the United States, growing it into a global managed hosting and datacenter company that became one of the early leaders in internet infrastructure. HanJoo also serves as vice chairman of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry and holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago.
