HAYASHI Kaori

Kaori Hayashi is Executive Vice President of the University of Tokyo, where she leads efforts to promote globalization and diversity on campus.　She is also a scholar of media and journalism studies and serves as a professor at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo. She currently serves as President of the Japan Association for Media, Journalism and Communication Studies. She is also widely recognized as a public intellectual and regular contributor to various media outlets, including Kyodo News Agency, Nikkei Woman, Nikkei Asia, and Asahi Shimbun.
