PROFILE
Dianne Harris is a Senior Program Officer in the Higher Education Program at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. From 2015-17 she served as Dean of the College of Humanities at the University of Utah. As Director of the Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities (2008-15) she founded the Humanities Without Walls, a consortium of humanities centers at 15 research universities in the Midwest and beyond. She received her PhD in Architectural History at the University of California, Berkeley. As a scholar, she has helped to shape the broad and multi-disciplinary field of
