Unai PASCUAL

Ikerbasque Research Professor in ecological economics. Previously he held positions as senior lecturer at the University of Cambridge (2002-13) and at Manchester University (2000-02). He works on the interactions between biodiversity, climate change, and human well-being with a social-ecological systems perspective. He has been member of the multidisciplinary expert panel (MEP) of IPBES (2015-2018), Lead Author of the IPBES Global Assessment (2015-2018). He has co-Chaired the IPBES Values Assessment (2018-2022).
