AHN SoEun

AHN SoEun is Natural Resource Economist and Chief Research Fellow, Sustainability Research Strategy Group, Korea Environment Institute. Her research interests include, Measurement of ecosystem services via indicators and economic valuation methods, Integration of environmental values into decision making process, Development of decision support tools through integrated modeling and/or assessment. She holds a Ph.D. at North Carolina State University in 1997. Her positions include Korea Environment Institute, Sejong, Korea (2003 - present), Intergovernmental science-policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES,) Value Assessment Working Group (3d) (2014 - 2022) (Expert), and OECD Environment Directorate, Paris, France (2011-2012)(Expert exchange program).
